The main landmark of multan city. The architecture of the tomb and the location is worth visiting. The land of beautiful architecture. Tomb of Shah Rukne Alam is situated in the city center. The mausoleum is constructed of burnt bricks, reinforced by shisham timbers. A must visit place when you go to multan. He was the grandson of baha udin zakriya. The serenity inside the tomb and the great architecture makes it worth it.

Half of the shrine was destroyed and disappeared with the flood of 1817. What's left, however, still shows the brilliant architecture of this era ; extensively decorated with Islamic scriptures and bright blue and white faience mosaic tiles.
This monument is located inside Qasim bagh which in turn located inside Kohna Fort Multan. The Lt mentioned above came from Bombay to Multan when it was Sikh Raj in Mooltan. He was killed by Sikh Govt and then British occupied Multan after a bloody battle and Lt buried in Fort Kohna Multan a monument was made alongside.

Travelling:
You can travel to Multan by plane, train, bus, or car, depending on your itinerary and how soon you want to be in the city. A quick flight of 1.5 hours can bring you to Multan International Airport from Karachi or Islamabad, while you can also enjoy a train ride to Multan Cantt Station from any of the major cities in the country. You can also get to Multan using the Daewoo Bus Service that runs across the country or take the N-5 National Highway that connects Multan to other cities in Pakistan.
