WAZIRISTAN THE LOST HEAVEN

WAZIRISTAN

Unexplored places:

Lying in the foot of Suleiman Mountains and between the Kurram and Gomal streams, Waziristan is a wonderful rocky region. Once 'The World Most Perilous Spot' and a 'Shelter for Fear based oppressor Outlets' after fruitful tasks by security organizations against militant¸ turned into a heaven for vacationer. This venture from illegal intimidation to the travel industry was difficult and cost a lot. In this conflict and disorder Waziristan was introduced as a risky spot and never acquired its way of life as visit spot.

Makin, the core of South Waziristan, covered with short uneven reaches is another place of interest. Going from Makin onwards to laddah and badr valley can be fantastic minutes for travelers. The green lavish valleys¸ lush knolls and flowing cascades add a lot to its magnificence. Razmak, Seena Teeza, and Kaniguram are different spots worth visiting.

There is no doubt that Pakistan is a country with rich natural beauty and tourist areas. This country has beautiful mountains, magnificent valleys, picturesque villages, beautiful rivers, and snow-capped peaks, and it is a country worth visiting for those who want to spend their days in pristine nature. However, the reason why tourists have not explored this beautiful land is mainly due to the lack of interest of the previous government in tourism to explore the beauty of undeveloped countries in Pakistan.  A few days ago, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced that Pakistan is a place with unimaginable beauty, hidden natural wonders and untapped tourism, which shows that he is impressed by the marvelous natural wonders. This beautiful and picturesque valley is located in the southern area of Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) is called Shakkai, and recently acquired the center of Tehsil with a population of about 70,000 and is located about 33 kilometers north of Wana.

Travelling:

North Waziristan is a beautiful mountainous region of northwest Pakistan, bordering with Afghanistan. Waziristan is situated in the south-west of Peshawar between the Kurram River to the north and the Gomal River to the south, forming part of Pakistan's FATA (old) with total area of 4,707 square kilometers. Miranshah is capital of North Waziristan. Like northern areas of Pakistan, the North Waziristan is a beautiful lush green valley. But its beauty remained unseen due to the existence of various militant groups in this region.

KP government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had promoted tourism by taking initiatives in each district of KP to create interaction among the people from different areas and generate economic activities. The Deputy Commissioners of each district were directed to identify such places where rafting, desert safari, paragliding, off-roading, skiing, Hiking, and zip-lining could be managed and the same should be coordinated with KP tourism department.
